Danae Leake, a proud graduate of the University of North Florida, brings a wealth of experience to her role as the Marketing and Communications Manager at Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida (LSS). With a background in journalism from various newsrooms across Southern markets, Danae is adept at uncovering the human element in every story she tells.

Driven by her passion for uplifting narratives, Danae is dedicated to using her skills to provide stories that inspire support and participation in the work and mission of LSS. Her deep-rooted connection to her community and her commitment to making a difference shine through in her work, as she strives to shed light on the impactful initiatives of LSS.

In her spare time, Danae embraces her sense of adventure by exploring national parks. Her latest adventure took her hiking the Angels Landing trail at Zion National Park, hiking over 5,000 feet! Danae indulges her love for Studio Ghibli by collecting merchandise and dreams of visiting Japan.
