At LSS, we’re constantly inspired by the creative and heartfelt ways our community shows up to support one another, and a recent donation from a local Bank of America team truly warmed our hearts.
Kimberly, a team member from the Bank of America US Registration and Licensing, had an idea after following a few inspiring Instagram accounts focused on simple, shareable ways to help others. Creators like DT Dinners and Your Barefoot Neighbor had been promoting a service project idea called “Meals in a Bag,” shelf-stable meal kits packed in gallon-size bags that feed a whole family with just a few ingredients.
She brought the idea to her team at work, and they loved it.
They got to work. And the result?
52 beautifully packed meal kits, ready to go to families in need. Plus, a ton of extra donations for our pantry shelves!
Each bag included the ingredients needed to make a full meal: shelf-stable, thoughtful, and packed with care. It was a fun, creative, and totally doable way to give back.
“This was a really fun project for us to do and a bit of a different way of helping our community,” Kimberly shared.
We couldn't agree more, and we’re so grateful they chose LSS as their pantry partner.
