Simply HealthCare Plans helped spread holiday at the Lutheran Social Services (LSS) Food Pantry by hosting a Holiday Food Giveaway on Friday, December 15th.
During the pantry's market hours from 10 a.m to noon, the Simply team distributed 40 turkeys and 90 gift cards to visiting families, spreading joy and sustenance. The food pantry provided food to 116 families during the market day.
Simply's employees also volunteered at the pantry by packaging and distributing food to families.
The event wasn't solely about provisions; it was also about getting families connected with vital health services. Alongside the giveaway, a resource fair was held, featuring appearances from the Department of Health and the Walmart Health Clinic, providing valuable health resources to attendees.
