We are always looking for volunteers to assist our newly arriving refugees through our Refugee and Immigration Services program. We are always in need of transportation for our clients, which includes picking them up from the airport, taking them to apply for social security cards and making sure they get to health screenings and other medical appointments. There are also other opportunities such as setting up apartments, organizing donation drives, delivering toys during the holidays and teaching/mentoring both children and adults. We also have many administrative tasks as well. If you would be interested in any of the following opportunities please contact Volunteer Coordinator Colette Rominger at 904.730.8247.
Help The Sharing Place Thrift Store by volunteering as a clerk, helping
clean and display store items and picking up donations. The Sharing Place is
open every Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Contact Lanny Schulz, The
Sharing Place Thrift Store manager,
at 904.446.9560.
If you are involved with a
