Junior Executives Today Setting Examples for Tomorrow

The Lutheran Social Services JETSET is a talented group of rising professionals who are up-and-coming members of the Jacksonville business community. Their purpose is to further the agency's overall mission of providing social services to the needy in our community.

As ambassadors for LSS, the JETSET group serves several important roles, such as understanding the agency's programs and promoting them in the community and organizing an annual fundraising project. For example, JETSET made a significant contribution to the success of this year's 17th Annual Jacksonville Food Fight. They coordinated and organized a raffle featuring five fabulous prizes that were given away to the lucky winners the night of the event. In the end, the total raffle sales added an additional $11,360 to Food Fight's net revenue. These funds alone equate to over 42,000 meals for the hungry in Northeast Florida.
