Junior Executives Today Setting Examples for Tomorrow

The Lutheran Social Services JETSET is a talented group of rising professionals who are up-and-coming members of the Jacksonville business community. Their purpose is to further the agency's overall mission of providing social services to the needy in our community.

As ambassadors for LSS, the JETSET group serves several important roles, such as understanding the agency's programs and promoting them in the community and organizing an annual fundraising project. For example, JETSET makes a significant contribution to the success of the Jacksonville FOODFIGHT each year. They coordinated and organized a raffle featuring five fabulous prizes that were given away to the lucky winners the night of the event. In the end, the total raffle sales have added more than $30,000 to FOODFIGHT's net revenue over the last three years. These funds alone equate to more than 180,000 meals for the hungry in north Florida.
